- In Sweden, you can roam freely - pick berries, take an evening dip in the lake or gaze over the stars and trees in the forest.
- Experience Falun from a different angle. Have a kayak or a SUP board and experience the World Heritage on water. There are also guided tours. Perhaps on a summer evening when the sun turns pink.
- Gruvspåret Cross-Country ski trail - a local cross-country ski trail, which currently runs from the Falun Mine and about 3 km through the forest up onto Lake Stora Vällan. Explore also other trails that Falun offers.
- Treat yourself a little extra at a relaxation and bathing and spa area at Lugnet. You have the opportunity to pamper yourself from head to toe with a world heritage theme in mind. A relaxing and enriching experience.
- At the lakeside of Falun -you are surrounded by forest and Lake Runn. There you can find many activities, a quiet environment, fresh air & wellness and relaxation rituals.
- Visit the Nature School's animals- The nature school has animals on Dikarbacken that everyone can visit for free. Here there are sheep, cows, pigs and Kårebocken himself, who once discovered the valuable copper ore in Falu Mine! ·Sometimes the Nature School has activities for the public, for example, lamb shows at the end of April, Mother's Day celebrations in May and the Animals' Christmas celebrations in December. These activities are free. Staff are usually on site every weekday.
