In this picturesque village just outside Falun, there used to be plenty of cabins where the ore from Falun Mine was refined along the
Sundborns River. Piles of slag and remains from cabins remain to this day.

Sundborn is above all a beautiful, lively village that invites you to stroll along the Sundborns River. Feel free to visit the artists' home Carl Larsson-gården, the miner's estate Stora Hyttnäs, Galleri Kvarnen, Sundborn's church or one of the craftsmen who live in the village.
