The Falun World Heritage consists of places and environments where one history worth preserving meets the future. Where we with new technology, like a time machine, travel back hundreds of years and in a vivid way take part in the life that was then. At the same time, as we stand with our feet in the present, we experience how history shaped life here and now. These experiences support the knowledge and commitment for the future, where culture and nature acquire a value that touches. Where there is pride to work and live. The places become something you want to return to. Because they are still seething with life. Because they have something to tell.
